About these document and code tools
Merging two PDFs, making a QR code for a Wi-Fi network or printing a barcode are tasks people usually hand to an online service that wants an account or adds a watermark. These tools do them in your browser instead, so your documents are not uploaded and there is nothing to pay for.
A few things are worth knowing. Compressing a PDF here works by turning each page into an image, which makes the file smaller but makes the text unselectable, so keep the original if you need to search it. A QR code only scans reliably when there is strong contrast between the code and its background, so dark on light is the safe choice. Always test a code with a real phone before you print a lot of them.
